Saucette en Showssettes Vol. 3
A free festival? You bet!
.
It's our privilege to officially invite you to put on your best socks, in your best gougounes, for one weekend, from May 22 to 25. We look forward to seeing you on Laval Street in the heart of downtown, as we kick off the season of festivities, terraces and fine weather.
.
Thursday, May 22 at 6 p.m. - We kick things off with LEVERAGE FOR MOUNTAINS, one of the region's pillars of folk music, followed by a performance by MARIE CÉLESTE and a surprise artist at Place Laval (173 rue Wellington). DJ Seizii will be on hand to keep you moving and fill the moments of silence (fiou!).
.
Friday, May 23 at 6 p.m. - We'll be back with the big open-air karaoke party hosted by Matelot Max and DJ Robi, for a 75-minute finale to our Friday evening. Outaouais citizens, it's your turn to take the stage! All this will be preceded by “Céline... ou presque!”, a drag show hosted by BOBÉPINE, with its 10 costume changes and 14 wigs. The entire repertoire (the hits!) of our national Céline will be covered. It'll be funky-fun, colorful and, let's hope, an urban safe space to bring everyone in the greater Capitale-Nationale region together.
.
New this year, in collaboration with Transistor Média, we'll be presenting live podcasts on the main stage. For the occasion, we welcome the FULL PLUMÉ gang (Lady Guidoune and Charlie Morin) and their guests. We're also delighted to welcome LA BRONZE, who will be presenting her new solo show as part of the 6 à 8 du Cégep de l'Outaouais.
.
Saturday, May 24 at 6 p.m. - D-TRACK and his musicians will kick things off at Place Laval, followed by the sweet pop-experimental music of N NAO. Our third edition features two headliners: CLAY & FRIEND and ELISAPIE. In 2023, Elisapie released Inuktitut, her fourth solo opus. On this album, the Inuk artist covers ten rock and pop classics from her childhood, which she translates and interprets in Inuktitut, her mother tongue. Her success also earned Elisapie five trophies at the Gala de l'ADISQ in 2024 and for Adult Alternative Album of the Year at the Junos 2025.
.
We close the evening with the excellent Clay & Friends, the band of Mike Clay (vocalist, trumpet) and his acolytes Poolboy (MPC, backing vocalist, beatbox), Pops (guitarist & musical director), Killah B (bass, bass synthesizers and saxophone), Alvaro (keyboards). Their soul-funk-hip-hop tunes are guaranteed to get you moving to the point of losing your gougouns and your voice (especially if your gougouns are a bit lousy and you scream a lot).
.
Sunday, May 25 from noon - FAMILY APREM - It's the little ones' turn to come and have some fun downtown. Families are invited to join in the festivities, where you'll find inflatable games and the opportunity to have the kids painted. None other than ATCHOUM will kick off the festivities on stage with their show Partout à la fois, a captivating musical adventure combining unique performances and explosive youth rock, in front of a giant picnic set-up organized by the festival. This will be followed by the podcast: LES BONNES NOUVELLES DES AS DE L'INFO. The news can make us sad or worried, but it also has the potential to make us smile and rekindle our enthusiasm ... Since 2023, the podcast Le journal des bonnes nouvelles des As de l'info has been concentrating a weekly dose of positive scoops for 8 - 12 year-olds: there's plenty of good stuff going on in our world too! For the festival, this fun podcast will be transformed into a stage show: author and comedian Véronique Pascal and her sidekick Benjamin Déziel will be on hand to offer kids a 45-minute dive into the year's sea of good news!
.
We can't wait to see you in your socks and gougounes! See you soon!
