Now in his fifties, Paul is a full-time comic book author and is launching a new book at the Salon du livre de Montréal. Since his divorce, he lives alone in his house with his dog Biscuit. With his daughter's imminent departure for London and his mother's deteriorating health, Paul feels that time has caught up with him. Through the ups and downs of old age and bachelorhood, he is confronted with grief in its many forms.

Michel Rabagliati's work is a staple of Quebec culture. Paul's stories touch all generations, with their accuracy, humor and great truth. From the comic strip to the stage, Lorraine Côté promises to transpose the universe of this everyday hero using the codes of shadow theater, object theater and live cinema, while leaving room for Michel Rabagliati's mythical drawings, which have won over readers the world over.
