Chloé Sainte-Marie and Marc Séguin, two extraordinary authors and multidisciplinary artists, will be sharing their passion for creation, writing, poetry, music, art and love with us, under the baton of Julie Huard.

And who knows? Will we hear Chloé Sainte-Marie interpret a text by Marc Séguin? ‘Sometimes, in art or culture, magic is just that: having little moments of euphoria. That's what I chase in life,’ says Marc Séguin, ’I'm a euphoria junkie.

And so are we! We look forward to welcoming you!

Chloé Sainte-Marie first made a name for herself in film before launching her singing career. For several years, she was a spokesperson for natural caregivers and created the Fondation Maison Gilles Carle in tribute to her life partner who died of Parkinson's disease. In 2022, Chloé made a remarkable return to the stage with her new CD/book/show Maudit Silence, a grandiose work that brings together eighteen poems from the Three Americas, across thirteen Aboriginal, Latin and Creole languages. It's a visceral production, carried by Chloé's magnificent, mixed-race voice.

Born in Ottawa, Marc Séguin is a painter, novelist and filmmaker. From his very first exhibition in 1996, he has attracted the attention of critics and art lovers alike. Today, his paintings can be found in the collections of some of the world's greatest museums. In 2016, he directed his first feature-length fiction film Stealing Alice, and in 2017, the documentary La ferme et son État, a portrait of the health of agriculture in Quebec. His work also includes six novels and a collection of poems, including La foi du braconnier, Au milieu du monde and the latest Madeleine et moi.
