In the fall of 2025, thanks to the Culture Outaouais Creation Residency Award, four artists from the Outaouais and across Quebec came together at Maison Scott-Fairview for the project Our Wombs.

Rooted in collaboration and shaped by public consultations, Our Wombs explores a central question: how are reproductive choices experienced, influenced, celebrated, or constrained by social norms, cultural narratives, public policies, and personal journeys?

Experience the work of these four artists in an open studio, offering an immersive space that blends dance performances, musical compositions, poetry, photography and audio testimonies. At the crossroads of installation, performance, and public engagement, this intimate environment brings to light the often-silenced experiences of maternity and non-maternity.
