Naya Ali, an Ethiopian-born rapper based in Montreal, arrived in 2017 like a breath of fresh air on the Canadian hip-hop scene with her debut EP Higher Self. Quickly noticed for her personality, exceptional flow and unique voice, Naya Ali has the ability to transport us into her uncompromising universe.

With the release in March 2020 of the first part of a two-album project, Godspeed: Baptism (Prelude), Naya Ali is back in the spotlight, proving that she has nothing to envy the big names of American rap. In 2021, she releases the sequel to this opus, aptly titled Godspeed: Elevated. If the prelude was a humble introduction, this latest chapter bears witness to Naya Ali's exceptional artistry, power, bravado and, above all, vulnerability. A mature album, inspired by the emotions she has experienced over the last few years, it presents the artist's journey from her beginnings in the rap game, from her baptism to her elevation, and earned her the prestigious Félix for Anglophone Album of the Year at the 44th ADISQ Gala in 2022.
