“Mémoire vivace” by Hugo Sabourin
The exhibition “Mémoire vivace” by artist Hugo Sabourin will be presented at Galerie Montcalm, from October 17 to December 16, 2024.
To what extent has the shutdown of our societies, during the confinements we've experienced, disrupted the chronological landmarks we rely on to give unity and coherence to our lives? This is the question that inspired the series of mixed media works presented by Gatineau artist Hugo Sabourin.
Mémoire vivace is the fruit of the artist's reflections on our temporal milestones, which were turned upside down during the pandemic.
We invite you to attend the exhibition opening on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 7 to 9 p.m., in the agora of the Maison du Citoyen, located at 25, rue Laurier in Gatineau.
Admission is free.
