High hopes and a humanistic, idealistic approach. Between pop song and free verse, he invites you to create the marvelous! His words follow his path over time, tinted by the people he crosses as if they were landscapes. Winner of the Festival de la Chanson de Granby in 2011, of the gold medal at the Jeux de la francophonie in 2009, and recipient of the Prix Dédé Fortin in 2012, Mathieu deconstructs and reconstructs reality through his songs, tales and dazzling poetry-slam-rhythm. For over 20 years now, like a modern troubadour, he has been touring Quebec, Canada and France. Alongside his stage activities, he also offers songwriting and poetry training in several countries of the French-speaking world and beyond, including Italy via the Ministère du Québec, and the United States and Italy via the Centre de la francophonie des Amériques and the Délégations du Québec à l'international. In addition to having collaborated with several artists on lyrics (Fred Pellerin, Brigitte Boisjoli, Stéphanie Bédard, Amylie, IMA, etc.), he has released three albums of songs for which he is also the non-incorporated producer (Là où le coeur mène in 2007, Le Voyage in 2013, Les Amants de l'Aube in 2017) and several singles (T'aimer c'est ça qu'j'aime in 2020, La Mélodie in 2020). Her next album will be released in winter 2025.
