The Symmes Inn Museum is happy to offer a macramé workshop where you’ll be guided through the process of making a planter.

You can choose between a model with or without a wooden plank (untreated, so it can be stained at home afterwards).

Several colors are available. This is an intermediate-level project.

The class will be given by Amélie Girard of Macramé Vibe, a local craftswoman.

The workshop will take place in the gardens of the Auberge Symmes, and will be accompanied by a beverage of your choice (we’ll be offering a variety of teas and herbal teas, coffee or lemonade served in our beautiful tea cups).

Where: The gardens of Symmes Inn at 1 Front Street, Aylmer (or on the 3rd floor of the museum in case of rain).

When: Sunday, August 4, 2024 from 1 to 4 p.m.

Cost: $50 per person (includes class, materials and one drink)
