I don't know if the title and visuals of my show fooled you? I titled it Dix Stricts Trente Thés Un (Ten Strict Thirty Teas One) in the hope that fans of the old popular show would think it was now on stage and buy tickets to my show by mistake. Quite a cheap trick, I agree. Sorry, folks. Still, this good-natured, absurd gag reflects the style of humor I'm still advocating after a 20-year career.

In fact, in this 4th show, my absurdity and irony will still color my universe, BUT I'm still opening up more about real things I've experienced, things that are often absurd in themselves, as if life has perhaps decided to subject me to the absurdities I've been imposing on my fans since my early days. A fair return of the elevator perhaps? If you're interested, come and have a look, I'd be delighted. Thank you in advance for your support, I really appreciate it. I'm smiling at you right now, which means I'm looking at you with an EVERYTHING BUT STRICT face :-) - Jean-Thomas

* Show presented in the auditorium of École polyvalente Nicolas-Gatineau, 360, boulevard La Vérendrye Est, Gatineau, QC, J8P 6K7

“The degree of absurdity and lightness with which Jean-Thomas Jobin tackles the most sensitive and sad themes in his new one-man show is staggering. [...] His style of humor endures and does good.” - Journal de Québec

“Jean-Thomas Jobin is one of Quebec's great absurdist comedians, and it's great to get to know him better with this new, more intimate show. It breathes a breath of fresh air into the character and shows us that no one is infallible.” - BP Arts Media

“There's something very sympathetic and engaging about Jean-Thomas Jobin's proposal. His way of making people laugh with things that aren't funny is effective.” - La Presse
