In conjunction with the Händel pour la relève project, professional musicians present a recital-causerie based on sonatas and cantatas by one of the most prolific composers of the Baroque period: Georg Friederich Händel. Indeed, the number of cantatas and sonatas composed by this master remains imposing. These works, most of them written for small ensembles, reveal an ingenuity of writing that demonstrates a formal and stylistic mastery associated with the Baroque period.
