Huu Bac Quach, a singer-songwriter of Chinese-Vietnamese origin, founded his quintet in Montreal, where he brings together Vietnamese, Chinese and Peruvian musical sounds with North American jazz. Surrounded by experienced musicians, Huu Bac performs compositions inspired by his many travels in Asia (China, Vietnam, India, etc.), Europe, Africa and South America.

In concert, he captivates audiences with the beauty and intensity of his music, as well as with his playing of the dan bau (Vietnamese monochord), erhu (Chinese fiddle), quena (Andean flute) and guitar. The Huu Bac quintet reflects a genuine dialogue between Asian, South and North American cultures in a contemporary and original way. They will be presenting new compositions from their second album.
