In 2013, Julien Poulin won the Best Actor award at the Soirée des prix Jutra (now Iris at the Gala Québec Cinéma) for his portrayal of Germain in the film Camion.

Filmmaker Rafaël Ouellet, who also directed him in Arsenault et fils, will be on hand to talk about his experience with this endearing actor.

Germain is an experienced truck driver. When he's involved in a traffic accident that kills a woman, his world stops spinning and he sinks into a disturbing state. Riddled with guilt, Germain doesn't have the courage to get back behind the wheel of his truck. He sinks into a lethargy that worries his son, Samuel.

In 2012, Camion won the prestigious Ecumenical Prize at the 47th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival in the Czech Republic.
