50 years after the release of his first album, Chansons pour un café, in 1973, which featured songs such as Quelle belle journée, Dis-lui bonjour and Tout est mieux là-haut, Gilles Valiquette is back with a vengeance with the album Retour à chansons pour un café.
Produced by Marc Pérusse, the opus features a rereading of songs from the cult album that marked the Quebec folk scene in the '70s. Following the release of this new album, Gilles presents a new show spanning his entire career: Mets un peu de soleil dans ta vie, La vie en rose, Je suis cool, Samedi soir and many other songs from his vast repertoire will be performed in their original versions, as well as all the songs from the new album.
