FEMMeXPO under the theme Terre de femmes

Artists, a vernissage and a dinner in song.

The Centre d'exposition Napoléon-Bourassa is proud to present the 17th edition of FEMMeXPO, an exhibition showcasing the powerful and committed vision of a wide range of women artists. Presented from March 8 to May 25, FEMMeXPO 2025, under the theme Terre de femmes, brings together 22 works by women artists (solo or collective), which resonate as poetic and visual pleas, affirming the interconnection between femininity and the earth.

The Centre d'exposition Napoléon-Bourassa invites the public to discover, through contemporary paintings, drawings, photographs, sculptures and installations, a selection of powerful and inspiring works by artists from the Outaouais region and beyond, whose artistic practices are as masterful as they are diverse. Immerse yourself in a world of art and reflection, a testament to the creative power of women in a rapidly changing world.

In the context of FEMMeXPO 2025, several activities will be offered to all.

Opening

Saturday, March 8, 2 pm

This year, the FEMMeXPO vernissage will take place on Saturday, March 8, a day emblematic of women's rights. The public is invited to the Centre d'exposition Napoléon-Bourassa, 548 rue Notre-Dame, Montebello, at 2 p.m., to attend the opening of the exhibition in the presence of the artists.

The event will include :

- a reading of a poem created from the texts presenting the works selected for the exhibition, recited by Floralie Adam;

- a talk by the artists in response to a question linked to the theme of the exhibition, in a nutshell;

- the launch of voting for the Public's Favourite award;

- the unveiling of the collective work directed by artist Anne Bouillon and created by 24 participating women artists.

Bites and drinks will be served on site.

We look forward to seeing you there to celebrate the creativity of our eloquent and talented female artists!
