Exposition « Pierre Debain : le parcours d'un artiste dévoué. »

The exhibition “L'Imagier : l'histoire” by curators Kali Kim Lindsay Sabourin and Philippe Bourdau will be presented at Espace Pierre-Debain, from June 18 to August 17, 2025.

The story of L'Imagier begins in 1975: a community space for friends, family and big names in the making. Fifty years later, curators Kali Sabourin and Philippe Bourdeau, in collaboration with Simon Debain, present the story of L'Imagier in a two-part exhibition, one at Espace Pierre-Debain and the other at the Centre d'exposition L'Imagier.

Espace Pierre-Debain will offer visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in Pierre Debain's creative universe, through a selection of works exploring the richness of his mediums and practice.

The second part will be presented at L'Imagier in autumn 2025. This exhibition will be an opportunity to revisit the origins of the center, to highlight its community and artistic scope, and to discover the unique place that Pierre and Yvette Debain have imagined and shaped over the years. We invite you to attend the exhibition opening on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Espace Pierre-Debain, located at the Centre culturel du Vieux Aylmer, 120 rue Principale, Gatineau.
