From mid-June to the end of October 2024.

Hull's downtown area has been marked by the presence of matchmakers. Not only did they work and live here, they also led important labor struggles. 100 years ago, in 1924, the matchmakers rallied the community around them during the 2nd labour dispute with the E.B. Eddy company. To pay tribute to the resilience and courage of these women, the town is presenting an outdoor exhibition of old photos that will plunge you into the heart of this event and of industrial and commercial life in Hull between 1890 and 1950.

Locations: downtown, in the vicinity of Promenade du

Portage and Zibi

Presented by Ville de Gatineau with financial support from the Québec government.
