**After Éric Lapointe, the party continues on the Scène Hydro-Québec with Ghys Mongeon at 10:15pm! 

In September 1994, a powerful earthquake shook the world of Quebec music. If “Terre promise”, a road song that was out of character for this teenager who was already rumored to be a party animal, revealed Éric Lapointe in the middle of summer, “N'importe quoi” established him as a star.

The 30 years that followed were punctuated by extraordinary invitations, including from the Rolling Stones, who offered him the chance to open their two Paris concerts on the Voodoo Lounge Tour in 1995, and from Céline Dion for a duet on the Plains of Abraham in 2008. These years were also marked by the release of 17 albums, a considerable collection of more than twenty No. 1 hits on the Quebec radio charts, a Top 3 subscription and a multitude of awards and distinctions, notably from ADISQ and the Festival d'été international de Québec (FEQ).

Celebrating 30 years in the business this year, Éric Lapointe is marking the anniversary with a re-recording of the ten songs on his album OBSESSION, and an anniversary show, OBSESSION 30 ANS, celebrating the three decades since the release of his first album.
