The Centre d'action culturelle de la MRC de Papineau is planning a very special evening on Saturday, October 12. It's an opportunity to celebrate cultural excellence in Papineau by awarding honorary prizes to people who have distinguished themselves in their field.

The awards ceremony will be followed by a performance by two formidable singers: Natalie Choquette and her daughter Florence K. They'll be singing about love in all its guises, in the language of Molière, as they explore the great classics of the French-speaking world.Natalie Choquette is a multilingual soprano like no other, who marvelously combines her formidable sense of humor with opera.

Gifted with a magnificent voice, she slips into the shoes of comic and excessive divas, brilliantly combining laughter and emotion.

Florence K is a singer-songwriter and pianist. Her musical universe is enriched by various styles and sounds from around the world, including classical, Cuban, Brazilian and others.

Hosted by Frédérique Drolet, a local soprano singer renowned for her musicality and playfulness, the evening is sure to be vibrant and enchanting.
