Cirk’Alors
Cirque In Toto
CIRK ALORS : Miniature circus for clowns
Cirk'Alors ! A colloquial circus expression expressing astonishment and surprise.
Example: Cirk' Alors! It's incredible how confusing this ring boy is.
In a circular space similar to a miniature circus, a clown opens the doors of his big top. Between an act involving wild plastic bags, balancing on musical notes, taming an unruly tiger, and a Zen Yin bowl for a Yang spirit, poetry invites itself under the red and yellow garlands. The performance rivals the humor, the excess here is in the very small, and everything finally becomes possible.
CIRK'ALORS takes spectators on a tender, sensitive and funny journey to the center of the starry ring, where circus codes are revisited. Come closer, but beware of the tiger all the same.

QUOTE:
"A funny, poetic, artistic universe in a circus de'cor, the illusion is perfect, the show is perfect. CIRK'ALORS, circus? (...) Juggling plastic bags and small balls, improvising as a beast tamer, acrobat or acrobat, he captured the attention of the young and amazed the old. - Dernières Nouvelles D'alsace newspaper
BIO :
A graduate of the YOLE circus and creativity school in Besançon, Thomas NIESS took his first steps with the Free Cirk collective in Toulouse (all from the same school). Initially a juggler, he specializes in clowning, attracted by its freedom and sensitive comic power. He joined several companies over the years: Le collectif Free Cirk, Les Pêcheurs de Rêves, la Fanfoire, SiPeuCirque, Les Arts Pîtres, Les Anges Nus, le Kafteur. He founded his company In Toto in 2015. In toto: Latin expression meaning entirely, completely. While continuing his clown training with clowns such as Gulko (cahin-caha), les Karamazones, François Small, Marcello Katz, but especially with Michel Dallaire and Eric Blouet, he explores new forms of circus mixing technique and humor. He has also worked as a clown and stage director with several companies: Les Anges Nus, Silembloc, 15h15, La Caravane Circule, Les Galipettes, Eduk'Art (Québec).
