Christmas Market

Welcome in the season with us as Galerie Old Chelsea’s always-popular Christmas Market opens on November 5! This year’s market features a stunning selection of original works by both new and returning local artists and artisans. 

Our unique gift ideas made by local artisans include::

·     unique and functional pottery bowls, mugs & vases, using sgraffito & other techniques.

·     wooden charcutrie ski tips made by a local wooden ski maker, with railroad spikes to remind us of our well-loved steam train.

·     blown and stained-glass panels & decorations.

·     wearable art textiles including silk and wool scarves, all handcrafted with care, each piece an original work of art;

·     large and small wooden sculptures & other objects such as bowls all showing the beauty of wood.

·     sandstone ceramic sculptures of charming little figures including garden sculptures;                     

·     hand spun wool spun into beautiful creatures, dolls and animals, one-of-a-kind toys, reminiscent of an old-world era;

·     small original paintings by our Galerie artists; and of course,

·     Christmas cards made by our Galerie artists.
