Céramique : Faire de l'art
Ceramics: Making Art
Presented from November 16, 2024 to February 16, 2025 at the Centre d'exposition Napoléon-Bourassa, this exhibition will feature works by 10 of Quebec's leading ceramists, as well as narrative panels illustrating the sometimes arduous, sometimes delicate work of the ceramist, the intimate links established between him and the material, and the various techniques available to him. Céramique : Faire de l'art will also focus on the presence and impact of clay in Petite Nation.
Curator Koen de Winter will propose a vision of the art of ceramics that compels admiration for the work of masters, satisfies curiosity, and arouses the pleasure of immersing oneself in beauty and ingenuity.
