    Fascinated by the work of Charles Aznavour, Wassim had in mind to pay a tribute to this great artist since his beginnings in the artistic world. His album “Portrait”, released in November 2023, is dedicated to him, notably with the album's theme song: L'artiste.


    Wassim is an author, composer and performer from Gatineau. It was at the dawn of his thirties that he launched himself completely into a musical career, when a perinatal bereavement triggered an emotional crisis that led him to create and express himself in song.
