STANDING SHOW

Dogue

Crowned Revelation of the Year at the 2022 ADISQ Gala, and nominated in the Francophone Album of the Year category at the 2023 Juno Awards, Ariane Roy is part of the new wave of artists redefining Quebec chanson. Following the dazzling Le Roy, la Rose et le Lou[p] concert series that has taken the province by storm over the past two years, and her first tour, medium plaisir, she returns to the stage with her solo project, presenting her second album, Dogue, co-produced with Félix Petit.

With her trademark ardor, this time she shows herself in a darker light, her words more biting, her voice more caustic, in a resolutely contemporary light. Dogue shows her teeth, yes, to smile, but at whose expense? We don't care, because we can't resist lying down in front of the fangs, hoping to join the pack.
